About Me I am a medium and Tarot card reader for the last 22 years. I have worked with police departments and the FBI on missing person cases.

Music Man, I like darn near anything except the obvious- I hate Billy Joel, Elton John, James Taylor and especially Warren Zevon. They all make my skin crawl and have incited me to violence. But I love music, all sorts of music. Right now I have the Drive By Truckers on my iPod set to 'repeat'.

Movies Fantasia, both the original and 2000, I watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 every single night, I have nearly all the episodes. Shameful, but 100% true.

TV I don't have cable and I don't pick up any networks. I don't miss it at all, its too violent and I can't stand all the lies and blowhards and the scandals. I just use my TV to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 and to play Playstation, pretty much.

Books I am a voracious reader, so I like a little of everything. Especially love reading about Roman and Greek gods and goddesses and the lesser gods and goddesses.

Likes I love to cook, I like to sew, I like to garden, I love to do my art, paint and create and try new things and meet new people. I LOVE hosting dinner parties and watching everyone enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Dislikes I don't like cats. I know this goes completely against the grain, but I just don't, no matter how cool your cat is to you, I just can't like them. I have tried, but it always ends in tears. Must be a past life thing, I am guessing. No matter how cute, how smart, how beautiful, I don't like them. Funny, because I identify so strongly with tigers, but I cannot stand to be in the same space as a housecat. They are pretty to look at, but only for short times and then I gotta go. I don't like closed mindedness, and people who tow the 'party line' without hearing any of the issues. I am also not a big fan of not taking responsibility for your actions or inactions, as in children in particular. You want to change the world? Don't like the intolerance and violence that is accepted as the norm? Start with your own children. Throw away the TV and spend time with them, TALK WITH THEM, not just TO them or AT them, get them involved in all aspects of life if you want to make a difference. Dang, people, its supposed to resemble a democracy, get out and read, speak UP and VOTE.

Hobbies Art art and more art! I also love to cook and eat what I have created, but moreso I love to have people over for a merry time of food and cooking and good times, I love to share and have a good time with friends both new and old, from all walks of life. I also collect all sorts of relics, statues and images from Catholicism, I am a recovering Catholic and old habits die hard.

Vices Ugh, you would ask? My biggest vice is Pepsi. I try to stay away from it, but it calls my name, like crack. That and really good ice cream, favorite is Ben & Jerry's, the bastards. I have never touched a cigarette to my lips nor to I plan to, I have never stuck a needle in my arm, nor to I plan to.

Virtues Virtues: I am good-hearted and love too much, I am selfless and the best friend you will ever have. I will be there for you when the chips are down, I will keep the vampires from your door, I will protect you from the hooded cloth. I will also be honest and tell you if your butt looks fat in those pants.

Heroes Heroes: My heroes are easy: My mom, who kicks ass, and my Grandmommy, who taught my mom how to kick that ass. My Grandmommy was a medicine woman on her reservation and delivered all the babies on the reservation and was an herbalist who knew a remedy for anything and everything. She learned all this from her mother as well, so you can say it has been passed down through the generations and snowballs from there. Also much respect to Ellen DeGeneres, no, I am not a lesbian, but even so, she is an amazing person and I find her to be a role model for all women everywhere, not just for sexual orientation but just as a person.

Jade Tiger's Thoughts and Paths

I have been on one strange journey, this lifetime. I have been here, there and everywhere inbetween. I have been everyone and no one, I have had an incredible life, my life has been extraordinary - blessed and cursed and won. I have walked many paths and have experienced many things. I am a continuous seeker of knowledge and all things spiritual and nothing spiritual to me is considered wrong or right, it just IS, and I am as free to express it or keep it shrouded as anyone else. I have no need to be an UP IN YOUR FACE practitioner, those days of being an angry young woman are long gone and I am glad to see them go. I am comfortable in myself, I know not what path I am taking, but I am confident I will get there regardless. I am a regular practitioner of magick of all sorts and from all around the world. My kitchen is my workspace and while I don't consider myself confined to being a kitchen witch or a hedge witch, it is my sanctuary.

I have been an experienced Tarot card reader now for over 20 years, even earning the title of St. Petersburg Times featured Love Psychic. I have done readings, performed ghost walks, I have been asked to appear on television and taping sessions for HBO, I grew up in one of the most active and haunted houses in Northern California, I have been an active member of the UC Davis and the Sacramento State University Parapsycholocial department since I was 14 and helped solve my first missing persons case when I was 16. I am a medium and a clairaudient, meaning i can hear things and I can even smell those who have crossed over very strongly when they want me to.

I am also an accomplished artist and sculptor, working with Marvel and DC Comics and working on projects for The Simpsons, Tenacious D, Beck and Tori Amos. I owned my own store and gallery in St. Petersburg and have had my art featured at different galleries nationally. I have worked in broadcast as well as print and sculpture, and I am looking forward to meeting others who share my love of the craft, as well as art, folk art or fine art, and just being around people like myself.

One word of caution about me, which seems to go completely against what we are about, is cats. I do not like them not one bit, not one iota. Not one, not ever. While I think they are pretty animals and I identify very strongly with tigers, which is odd, I do not like housecats at all, not now, not ever, and there is no sign of this changing. I would never harm one, but at the same time, I do not seek them out nor do I like them in my space at all. Must be a past life thing, I am guessing, but I thought you all should know that about me before sending me pics of cats. There! Got that off my chest. I am ready to meet you all and look forward to making the most of this site and network with others who are like myself, and learning as much as I can from each of you, and hopefully, imparting some of my knowledge or experience in return.
